Hi Friends. I am from India and i wish to apply for a student visa for next year. Everybody talks about the SPP. Now actually what is the difference of applying by SPP and general category ? what are the benefits between both? Can some one help and explain the same in detail > and how long is the SPP going to be?
SPP is a process in which a certain group of colleges that has its standard certified take in students from international countries.
To get into this process you should have never had any rejections to this country in the past. The number of documents needed in this process is less than the general process and the number of days to get your visa approved is less as well.
General process you can apply n number of times , also the number of days for visa approval is also more.
You can check this link for further details on SPP :
If you get rejected once under SPP, you will have to apply under General category. That's the rule. And, under General category you require more documents.
