× Please answer truthfully to question 2b on application form - Background Information
Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
If you answered ‘yes’ , please provide details"
I answered "NO" because did not read full question on form 1294E , i read up to Canada and answered it. But I have a USA B1 visa rejection in 2015. What to do now?
Ignorance is not an excuse. Just send a letter stating that you were denied B1 visa and attach supporting documents showing the reason of refusal.
Disclosing B1 refusal does not mean that you will be denied Canadian visa. Not disclosing can surely ban you for 5 years in Canada.
Everyone should understand one thing that they are not issuing Ration Card. They are into immigration and in the digital age they have access to all the database around the globe. Be truthful and don't play smart or dumb with them.
