We went to Service Ontario to apply for photo IDs and health cards.
But so far, I have only received health papers. Has anyone applied for Photo ID and health cards in 2024？ I wonder how the process looks.

What did they tell you when you applied? As I recall, they send the photo IDs in 4-6 weeks (may have a backlog now due to postal strike/other reasons); I don't remember whether they give a temporary ID.

I applied for my new OHIP early this month (my last name changed due to marriage) - it has been 3 weeks. Still waiting for it to arrive. Got a piece of paper to use in the meantime.
