Question 9 of the Sponsored Spouse Questionnaire asks us to Describe how your relationship developed after first contact/meeting and if we dated or went on any outings or trips together.
My wife (Canadian Citizen) and I (British citizen) have been together for 15 years, married for 11 and have a child together. We own a house together (which we are currently selling to fund any move to Canada).
How much proof do we need to provide of events and activities we did together? Do we need to provide proof related to when we first started dating or does just general proof over the course of 15 years? We have photos going back that long but nothing else, like chat logs or phone bill etc.
Does the fact that we own a house together, have a join savings account act as proof of our relationship?
30-12-2014 , then again 13-02-2015 (DM 03-01-2015, PP&CoPR received 06-01-2015, returned to Ottawa because of a mistake, received again on 16-02-2015)
I am sure in your case your relationship will not be under scrutiny. I have known my husband for about a year before marrying and we sent only photos and some tickets we had from trips we took together. We didn't send any chats, and they never asked for more (we were approved). So I think for you photos will suffice, and other things you mentioned (house, bank account). Add a few photos from the start of your relationship, just to show how far back it goes.

You don't need much proof. UK citizens get low scrutiny to begin with and with a 11 year marriage, a child together and owning a home together, you don't need to do much to convince CIC. Some wedding photos, some family pics that include you with some of his extended family and vice versa. A few pics of you, your husband and your child together (family trips, child's birthday party, etc). Maybe showing proof that you both own your home.
