Designated Countries

As I apply for a Study Permit online, the following question requires a Yes or No answer:

"Have you visited or lived in any one of the designated countries for 6 consecutive months in the last year?"

When I try to get a list of the "Designated Countries" I am directed to page which lists all the countries in the world. Can anybody shed some light on how to answer this and if there is a list to be found somewhere.

You may think that it contains all countries but the list will not contain ALL countries. For an individual, there can be maximum two countries for last year if he/she stayed 6 consecutive months. Just check the list if those countries are listed there or not. If you find that country in the list then answer is 'Yes'.

The second column ' Immigration Medical Exam (IME) Required' will determine the answer. Example: If you are applying from India and stayed in India during last year then answer is 'Yes'. Search for the country and see second column for YES/NO. If you have already completed one year of program in Canada and looking to extend study permit, your answer would still be 'Yes' because you were in India last year for more than six months before coming to Canada.
If the second column ' Immigration Medical Exam (IME) Required' is No against the country then just answer is as No.

if you stayed for at least 6 consecutive months in the last year to any country that says "YES" then you have to declare it and include them in your list.
It means you need to provide your medical test result irrespective where you currently resides as of the time you submit your application.
