Hi, I came to Canada as an internation student in 2016 and completed my bachelors in 2020. I have been working in NOC 21220 from 2020-2022 and I have my Celpip scores with me. I tried to calculated the CRS score with the tool provided by the Government and my score shows up as 498. However, when I create a profile and try applying as CEC my score is 448. Not sure whats the reason for the deduction of 50 points. My job requires work permit but no LMIA is required. I have entered the same CELPIP scores on both and yet there is a difference of 50 points. Would someone be able to assist me with this and why this is happening?

Ageed with the above post. I assume you are on a PGWP and you probably incorrectly claimed 50 points for having a job offer in the CRS tool. You cannot claim these points unless your employer obtains an approved LMIA (again, assuming you are on a PGWP). So the 448 is correct if this is what happened. Do the calculation again but this time say "no" to the job offer question.
