deported from usa can i come to canada

I was deported from usa in 2020 because i overstayed. I was never deported. I left voluntary. I had overstayed my visa for a few years. So i didnt want to live there without status. Now im back in india. Is it possible i can go to canada. I got married in india and my wife is planning to go to canada on a student visa. Can i go as a dependant.

Spouses of international students are never guaranteed a visa or permit to come to Canada with their spouses. Given your overstay and the fact that you seem to have been caught overstaying and voluntarily removed yourself I would expect it to be very hard to come to Canada on a temporary basis until you can secure PR.
