I used to live in Canada in 2010, my parents were trying to get citizenship, hired a lawyer and everything was going fine until my father fired the lawyer for some reason.
Guy got frustrated and tricked him to sign something that changed our home address to his, and when court papers were sent we didn't get them.
We didn't show up in court so we were at that point deported in 2014.
We had 14 days to leave Canada so we did (we paid for the tickets) I was 15/16 years old at the time.
I decided I want to come back and since I was underage do I need to fill the arc paper? Or can I enter on ETA?
Also my certificate states a36, a42

You need to apply for an ARC to return.

1. A36 is criminality (i.e. your father)
2. A42 is accompanying dependent

My bad it says a49 not 42
Also criminality? He never did anything wrong, he has no criminal background.
I actually saw that other people were asking the same thing why a36 when they didn't do anything.

Since you were deported, you need to go through the ARC process to return. It doesn't matter how old you were at the time.
