Hai,
I completed my studies in Canada and applied for my Post Graduate Work Permit. My husband came to Canada as a dependent and his open work permit expires on November 30, 2014. I wanted to extend his work permit. Can any one please help me to know
-what are the documents required for his open work permit extension
-what is the CIC link to apply for visa extension.
You need to provide proof that you have a full time job in an occupation that is NOC A, B, or 0.
Hi
Thanks for the reply. But I heard that there is no need for job offer letter as there already exists work permit. Is it true. let me know pls.
You need a letter from your employer, if your current job is not NOC O, A, B, your spouse is not eligible for an open work permit.
I don't have a job. I wrote my nursing licence exam. I am waiting for the results. but i cannot wait until the results come. as his work permit expires and i am waiting for my work permit.

1. If you don't have a job then until you get a job, in NOC A, B, or O and have a job description plus 1 pay slip, your spouse CAN'T get his work permit extended. He will have to apply for an extensions as a visitor.
