dependent open work permit visa

Hi .... My husband got canada visa under w1 category from india to work for specific employer . He applied spouse open work permit visa for me . its been 2 months but i haven't received any information or visa . He moved to canada . any idea how long it will take to get dependent open work permit . i read somewhere that w1 visa holders can't sponsor their spouse , is it true ????? if not then how long i have to wait for updates

You are eligible for open work permit. However this can be done by your husbands employer. Did they file for your permit or you have individually applied?

yes it is filed by my husband's employer only . but its been 2 months haven't recieved my visa , any idea how long it will take
