Hi Everyone,

I have a client who is applying for a WP under NOC Level B. He is bringing his wife and 2 kids with him. His kids are 7 and 9 years old. His question is: Will his kids be able to go to a public school system here in Vancouver? I know that the answer is yes as per IRPA 30(2)-Every minor child in Canada, other than a child of a temporary resident not authorized to work or study, is authorized to study at the pre-school, primary or secondary level.
Other Question he has is "Will he have to pay for his kids to go to school?"

Can the experts help out? Also, I would encourage the foreign workers and International students living in Canada to share their experiences.

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to hearing from you. :)

As long as the TWP is valid for 12 months or more the children will be admitted to school and will not have to pay international fees.
