Hi All

I have a question which I appreciate if someone can give me a firm answer:

I have got my PR under DR category (Dependant Refugee) through My spouse as she was accepted as protected person in Canada, my question is:
What if I am not able to stay in Canada for 2 years out of 5 years and then lost my PR status, is it easy my spouse can re apply for me for second time

Thanks

Yes as long as your spouse is Canadian PR meeting the residency obligation, she can sponsor you under family class if you lose your own PR status.

Thanks , but the DR category is different than the FAM category..
it doesn't called "Sponsorship" and it is not require to go through Sponsorship process, it is quite different, that's why I am looking for people have same situation as mine

It doesn't matter how you originally got your PR.

If the situation you are asking about happens, she would be a PR sponsoring her spouse, just like every other Family Class app.

she has not gone through the sponsorship process in the first application!
When she applied to her PR she just added me as spouse, so not sure how it works at the second time

You have been told how it works! Your wife would need to sponsor you (just like every other PR/citizen) if you lose your PR.

How you got PR originally is completely irrelevant.

If someone is already a PR in Canada and wants to sponsor their spouse, they use a family class application. It is not any more complicated than this.
