My son has a 3 yrs Canada visa, he's coming here to visit me in summer. But i am thinking about getting him in a school in Canada, hes 10 yrs old...... Can anyone help me with the procedure? I'm caregiver, and i am putting in my papers for pr in February 2013. Has anyone done this before?????????
Minor child does not require a study permit to attend school. As he has visa to enter, contact the local education board to register.

CIC requires no study permit for minors. Some school or your province may have their own requirement. So check with them.

If only a child is already in Canada where his parent works or studies only then a minor child does not need a study permit.
