Delayed response for supervisa

Hello, Me and my husband are Canadian PR. We had a baby recently in June 2018. My mom came to visit us on visitor visa during this time and stayed for 3 months in Canada. She left Canada in July 2018. She has 10years visitor visa. My husband applied for supervisa since we wanted my mom to stay with us a little longer than 6 months to help me with the baby. We applied supervisa on September 7th 2018 for my mom. We submitted her old medicals which was done on March 2018 during visitor visa which is valid for one year. She received a request for further medical on Nov 13th 2018. My mom went to two panel physician and both told her that no pending medical is reflecting in her file and everything looks complete. We replied back with the same letter that the panel physician gave us but its been 1.5 months already after we submitted the response to the medical request and no response has been received from their end. In total it's been 4 months since we applied for supervisa but no response yet. Our agent have even mailed them. Plus I have also sent a web query a month ago but no reply from their end. Please help .

Instead of applying supervisa, she should have applied an extension of her stay in Canada for up to 2 years.
