Hello,

We have applied visitor visa for my parents on June 7th, 2024 and no updates after biometrics request yet. Travel date is coming in 3 weeks and our baby due date is in 4-5 weeks. We will need our parents assistance during this time.
Wondering if there’s a way to escalate this situation ?

Appreciate any suggestions.

I noticed visitor visa processing time is increasing.
Have anyone received Passport request, who applied visitor visa in June ?

It is not delayed and within normal processing times. Processing times are an estimate when most not all are approved by. There is no way to expedite. If after end of July, there is no movement on file then raise a webform. IRCC doesn’t care about travel dates.
