Delay of reply ... Reply recvd from canada ... pls advice

my consultant received this reply from H comm. of canada about my staus since my medicals were sent on 17/09/2011 and i was worried about the delays .... pls tell me is it something good or bad ...

Dear..hold your nerves. It obviously is a good. Friend of mine recently received PPR after 7 months of medical. He is not the only case rather too many in the queue

this morning i was checking my status on CIC site i found the status as it is looooooong time back :

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on August 12, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 2, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on October 6, 2009. The London England office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 13, 2011.

i cant hold myself from thinking especially when i saw on ur site the case of the syrian whose visa was rejected after 2 years !!! what about me , do u think there will be any chance ......
