Delay in work permit under GSS

Hi every one,

Let's share our timeline regarding work permit applications under GSS. I Its been 4 months now that I am waiting.

Submission: 16 Feb 2021
Biometric: 18 Feb 2021
asked additional documents: 23 Mar 2021
Additional documents added: 10 Mar

No update since then. I am suspicious that they are processing GSS work permit application nowadays. Anyone who got the work permit recently?

Biometric done and updated in profile: 29 April 2021
Medical passed: 29 April 2021
First ghost update with email about update: 24 April 2021
Second ghost update: In second week of May 2021
Third ghost update: 7 June 2021

Hello, Can you please share what was the additional document asked for and is your application based on LMIA or LMIA exempted Job offer

Processing time checked via above link says that as on 8 June 2021, 80% of GSS applications finalized in last 8 weeks were submitted between 21 March to 27 Mach 2021.

My LMIA based closed work permit submitted on July 2020
NOC 2173 - Software developer
Upfront medicals
biometrics and medicals passed in November 2020
medicals expired in March 2021
Got medical request from IRCC on April 2021
medicals again passed in May 2021
Afterwards no update
Applied GCMS notes and raised web forms few times and got generic response only.
Is there anything we can do to at least know when we will receive final decision.

What was mentioned in GCMS notes; which stages have been passed and which are yet to reviewed?

They asked for a few documents that I forgot to upload. My application was based on a LMIA exempted job offer.

Biometric Completed: 14 July 2021
Visa approved: 6 August 2021
