Delay In student study permit for Canada

Hi I am jass from India.
I hav applied for the student permit on 27.04.11 one month before as time given by embassy and the time of registering to college as on 30.05.11.
I didnt get any response from embassy until 30.05.11. I have got embaasy letter for further medical examination on 15.05.11. I have gone through all and reports are extactly normal. But unlikely now the college is not giving me any extension for the course. The embaassy is not giving me any response till date. Now the college is offering me next intake which is in december (6 months ahead).
What could I do now, I have to withdraw my application now or put it on hold, I am really worried.

i was in a similar kind of position...i applied for the visa on march 25th. my classes were starting from may 5th. the embassy did not give any response till may 5th, hence I had to deffer my admission to next intake i.e. Sept.

i kept on awaiting the response from the embassy. and fortunately, though later, i got the medical call on June 1st. almost 2months and a week after the submission of my visa file! got my medicals done on June 2nd. now awaiting the visa.they say, they take almost a month after the medicals to issue the visa!

so...in ur case, i wud suggest u to deffer to the next intake and await the response from the embassy..that's all u can do i believe.
