IRCC website says that in order to reunite with a family member who is a temporary resident in Canada, one must reach out to IRCC asking for exemption and they would respond in 5 working days. It has been 10 working days so far and I have received no response at all. I received my dependent open work permit visa on the 8th of July after waiting for 4 months. I suffice all the conditions of the exemption. I have a visa and my husband is in Canada on a temporary visa. I do not know how to proceed.
Is someone facing an issue like mine?
