Delay in getting AIP for fall 2020 admission

Hi guys,

I submitted my application for study permit in June 2020. My studies would start on 8th of September, 2020 and my profile still reads,
"We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you".

What can i do to fast track the process?

Should i consider deferring the admission to Jan 2021?
