I checked ECAS today and it said "Decision Made" for the permanent residence and application status.
but the info says the same thing as it has for a long time....
"We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on November 4, 2011.
Medical results have been received."
Does anyone know if this is often good news or bad news?
There was no request for an interview and The Philippines is expected to be 10 months (plus 2 months sponsor ship approval
but for us it's only been 3ish months (plus 2 months for approval)
We were expecting an interview because in our opinion it's not a straight forward case.
They would advise the applicant only. You would only see what you see now, "Decision Made" on eCAS. They would normally use a courier service or registered mail, yes. I am not sure how DHL operates there. In an office setting I know they'll accept a signature from anyone responsible, but in a delivery to a person, they might hold it for the person named on the form.
Im at the same situation BUT We received the letter approving our sponsorship in january they said your application will be send to your country but after that not other info and updates in CIC page ....Honestly I dont know what expect....please if u get other info let me know.
Try to participate in the CIC Survey to asking more updates...
take care good luck
I did...I talked with a nice agent and told me my applicattion was sent to Venezuela so I must contact them...I called to Canadian Embassy in Venezuela and they told me that they dont give that info by phone I must wait to them contact me...So NO INFO ....
