Hi everybody,

Ling time lurker here.

Our application switched to DECISION MADE in late July and we have been anxiously watching the mailbox for our COPR. Our application was completed by Ottawa. After waiting for a while, I emailed the Ottawa office and learned that our COPR was mailed out on July 25. We are in South Korea. Should we still be waiting? Mail normally gets here in 2 weeks. Anybody else have similar waits?

I'm concerned because the way they formatted the address (apartment number first, followed by the address) may work for Canada but makes the address wildly different in Korea, as dashes frequently occur regularly in addresses here. Also, there haven't been any phone calls of attempted deliveries.

Should we contact Ottawa or keep waiting impatiently? Thanks.

Why was the app done by Ottawa? Korean applicants are typically done in Manila.

Can you confirm the way they spelled the address on the COPR?
I would definitely contact them again and ask them to re-issue a new COPR, and confirm the address again. Since there is a photo affixed to COPR doc, you may need to send them a new immigration photo.

I have no idea why Ottawa did it and not Manila. It was Manila I contacted first and they informed me that Ottawa did it. I looked through my past messages and it did say they transfered my files to Ottawa.

Okay, I'll shoot them off a message with the address formatted in the typical Korean style. Do you think they'd send it to my workplace?
