My Ecas just moved to "decision made" - hoping this is the last piece of an extremely large puzzle!
I have an issue though - My IEC visa expires Nov 3rd. What happens if they request my passport (London VO) and it isn't returned before my IEC Visa expires? I won't physically have status, but without a passport I cannot go anywhere!
I know implied status doesn't apply to Outland applicants like me, but with this timing, there's a possibility London will have my passport when my IEC permit expires, so I'm confused what to do in that case.
Hoping that the PPR is done and I can land before the Nov 3rd deadline, but of course I want to be prepared for the above scenario also.
If you are from a visa-exempt country they don't ask for your passport. As far as I know passport request comes before decision made. You just have to wait for your COPR now, cross the border and then you are a PR.
I'll wait for the letter then, felt like an eternity this last couple of years - can't wait to move on with my life here without the "will I get a visa" cloud over my head!
Good luck to everyone else, I'll update when I know more so we have timeline info!
