Hi everyone

I applied for my outland spousal sponsorship application. My wife sponsored me. The application was received on October 6th 2016 and they began processing it on November 7th.

When I check the status of my application online, it says "Decision Made" . But when I click on the link to see what the decision is, it doesn't tell me what the decision is.

Does the 12 month processing time begin from the date they receive it or begin processing it?

Do you know how I can find out what the decision is? Has anyone faced such a situation?

Thanks

If you applied on October 6 the 12 month timeline does not apply. The new 12m streamlined timelines came in on December 7 2016.

If there were no additional proofs, documentations, interviews required, etc you can be fairly confident it's a positive decision. When did it change?

Even before the December 7th change the timeline for outland was 12 months. There was an interview in Turkey but I was not able to go. It changed a few months ago.

You're the sponsor then?

Guess it depends on how interview went...

I am the applicant. I was not able to go for the interview...which was in February 2016
I see. Maybe a more senior member would weigh in, but I can't imagine it's a good thing if they requested an interview and you did not go??

It's my understanding that not attending the interview is grounds for automatic refusal.

Yeah I would agree with this...not sure what OP expected exactly by just skipping interview...
