December 2015 Outland Sponsorship in Mexico City

Hi everyone,
I just mailed the application to sponsor my husband who is currently in Guatemala on December 4, 2015. It was delivered on December 8, 2015. I haven't received anything yet.
Since CIC has changed the layout of their website, everything seems unclear. I have a 4 years old and another 11 months old waiting for their father. we are really anxious about the processing time. Does it REALLY take 17 months as it states on website?
Does anyone have the most recent timelines for Mexico City and CPC-Mississauga.
Please share your timelines here to have some encouragement.

Hi im aplyin via mexico too, im September aplicant, you should go to January aplicants so you can get
ideas there, usually are takin 6-8 months, with good luck 5-6 months, i thinnk you are going to hear from then around february 5-8 they will let you know that you have been aproved with SA Letter and the they
will send your file to mexico, any ways everybody is expectin changes to the long actually procesin times, as the Hon. Minister sayd, good luck.

Have you heard anything else yet? My partner is also from Guatemala, we are just starting to put together our application for PR! I'm curious to see how long is the processing time for that office!

Can't your husband visit you in Canada while he waits? Or at least visit?
