Hey guys, i know i have brought that kind of topic in the past, but i just want any of you guys, who might know something or heard, to shed some light on that. I have seen some January 2014 applicants status changed from App. Received to In Process, yet i also been told by some folks that CEM is finishing up with 2013 applicants. I know some folks must be frustrated by now that they have to wait that extra few weeks or months for their status to change. But guys from CEM ask for your passport and then they hold it forever in there. Logically speaking it doesn't make any sense to hold your passport for weeks and months, without giving any sort of update even if its minor. It sucks, but at the end of the day, we are all on the same boat in here, so realistically all we can do is be patient and wait>)) :'(

Please share your thoughts, suggestions, ideas in here, if u have any.

is it safe to assume you applied inland? there is a significant difference in the procesing time for inland and outland, so the applications you are seeing getting approved from 2014 may not be in the same category as yours. for the most part, yes, for outland applications it seems there is a differnce in how 2013 and 2014 applications are being processed. no one can say "why" this is. It is my assumption that there was some sort of "internal directive" that changed the way applications are completed, and it only applies to 2014 applications. unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to know whether this is true or not.
