I am new to this forum. I have already got my PR Visa but still to do landing formalaties. I have couple of naive or basic questions which you guys could answer would help me.
1) I got PR visa stamped from New Delhi office but I want to do my landing from US where I am working right now. Can I do that without any issues? Any documents or special things to do for this?
2) Post landing I would stay in Toronto for three to four days (at my friend's place) what are the things I can do during this period like Can I apply for health card, SIN card etc etc?

Yes you can do the landing from any country no problem

You can get your SIN, can open a bank account, for health card i heard it takes 3 months and also i think you can get a driver license if you already have an american one.
