Hello everyone ,
I have a doubt.I understand that one must complete 790 days of canadian stay during their PR to be able to renew the PR.
Will the days spent in CANADA before getting a PR be counted towards these 790 days ? or only those spent after getting the PR will be counted?
Thanks
It is actually 730 days that you have to spend in Canada in any rolling 5 year period. That means it is not enough to spend 730 days in your first 5 years. After you have been a PR for more than 5 years, you should always have 730 days in Canada in the past 5 years.
Time you spent in Canada right after your landing moves outside the window of the past 5 years and you must replace those days with more days spent in Canada.
