Date and place of your last entry to Canada?

My common-law partner entered Canada as a visitor in September 2018, and then "flagpoled" the border to activate his working holiday visa on November 11th 2018.
That being said, what date would we write on the IMM 0008 form "Generic Application Form", question #11 (What is the date and place of your last entry to Canada)? He didn't receive an exit stamp in his passport from Canada.

Nov 11th. Canada doesn't give exit stamps.
