I have finally received the notice to appear for my citizenship test in two weeks time, but am worried about one thing. The notice asks to bring to the exam my PR Card (if I have ever received one). I have my PR Card and it has not expired; however part of the plastic covering it has peeled off, making it harder to read some of the info on the card.
I am starting to panic and not sure what to do? Should I apply to have my PR Card renewed now and take the receipt instead of the card, or should I take the card as is? Will presenting the damaged card (or receipt instead of the card) increase my chances of being hit with an RQ?
It might take too long for you to get a new card. I would just take the card as is. Try not to damage it more, so it stays as good as possible until you have to show it.
I agree with the previous poster. Act normally, have your documents with you and study hard for the test. Good luck
Did you check if your status online has changed to "we have sent you a notifacation to attend a test on so and so date" or something like that.... or if they dont change it maybe..
