Custom / Immigation and layover time

Hi,

I am flying from Mumbai --Zurich -->Toronto -->Edmonton by Air Canada .
My question
1) Where will my immigration/custom check happen ? Toronto or at Edmonton
2) Do I have to check bags at Toronto and then after immigration is done again do check in bags for flight to Edmonton or airline will take care of this ?
3) I have 1 hour 45 mins layover at Toronto , is this sufficient time ? (If I have to complete immmigration / check bags)

Immigration and customs always completed at first point of entry so Toronto.

You will have to collect bags for immigration and customs and drop them off at the connections point for the donestic flight but read the above link.

Difficult to say if that is enough time depends on time of day how busy immigration is and if you are doing a landing might be tight on time to complete what you need to do no way to tell.

Still not enough. Especially OP's arriving in one of the busiest POEs. 4 hours should be sufficient.
