Just wondering if anyone has any experience with recent processing times for FBI background checks through NBCI (or any of the other channelers that will actually return hardcopy results). We're looking to find a faster alternative to submitting directly through the FBI, as having the delay be longer then the results are valid for makes planning timelines difficult. NBCI says they process within 3-5 days of receiving the application, but aren't responsible for delays from the FBI - and the whole point for us would be to avoid the mess that is the FBI's current backlog and months long delays.
TL;DR: In light of the current FBI backlog, how much (if any) faster are channelers returning results?
