Has anybody been in a similar situation or knows the answer to the following question?
I am a Polish citizen visiting my fiancee in Toronto for few months (on a toursit visa, still valid for another 4 months). I have just received my invitation to apply for EE under Canadian Experience Class (was here before on IEC visa). My question is - what is my current country of residence immigration wise? I don't have any properties or ties in Canada, however I am not planning on coming back to my home country once my application is approved. Should I provide Canada or Poland as my country of residence?
While going through the guide, it says there is an option like "tourist" when providing details on your residency status:
