I'm applying for a visitor extension in Canada.
There is a question asking for my current country of residence. It automatically filled in 'Canada' for me. I am currently in Canada as a visitor so should that be my current place of residence?
Or should the United States be my answer? (since that is where I have my citizenship and where I legally currently live)
Thank you.

how long did you stay in Canada on TRV?? if it more than 5 months and planning for extension then your current country of residence becomes Canada!!
It'll be 5 months on the 22!
Also, the form asks for my passport #, but I'm here with a valid travel document. Should I just use that number or do I need a passport...? :-\

Just provide your passport number !!
I don't have a passport yet... The online cic said I could apply with a travel document but the form only asks for a passport #.

I have an enhanced drivers license. (valid travel document to Canada)
If u r currently in Canada the country of residence should be Canada. In fact it does fill in automatically. You can use ur travel document as a passport
