I call the immigration Quebec today to ask file number and they told me the number is start at C00*******.Because it is not that clear for my mobile phone,could you help me to make sure the numbers we are the same which starting at C00*******. I submit my application on Nov 1,2010.
Your file number should start with the first and second letters of your first and 9 numbers (this is at least my case)

I submitted my documents January 4, 2011 - got my AOR on the 13th of Jan! Applying from Sao Paulo.
My dossier # is not the first and second letters of my first name. : It's the first letter of my first name and the second letter of my last name. Hmm.

I applied from USA (Buffalo office) on March 2010 and recieved my file number on April 7, 2010.I have been waiting since then.
I called the processing office and they said they were working on the February 2010 application.
