My friend's husband rec'd his CSQ from MICC yesterday. He's inland app but he is also out of status. I told them they should apply for OPW in order to restore his status? Question too, can he apply for Quebec Health card with CSQ or he needs to wait for AIP? Thank you
If he is out of status, he is not eligible for an OWP (i think thats what you meant by OPW?) You are eligible to health coverage if you received your OWP under the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class AND you have a CSQ (and AIP oops) . Not sure if you can just get health coverage with just CSQ, you could try giving MICC a call and ask about it.

Sorry, but this is not true. Well, the first part is. But you're not eligible to health coverage with CSQ and OWP. They changed that back in June and now require OWP+CSQ+AIP.
