CRS Score Education

Hi guys,
I have a B.Tech degree from India and currently pursuing 1 year Graduate Certificate program in Toronto.
While calculating my CRS score assuming I have completed my current program, what should I select for point 4a and 4b.
For 4a - Should I select Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees? Because if I do, I think its showing as if I'm getting points for my Canadian education twice, once for the selection on 4a and the second for 4b

Please advise if someone has a clue about this.

Enter the highest level of education for which you:

• earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
• had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years

4b) Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate?

Note: to answer yes:

• English or French as a Second Language must not have made up more than half your study
• you must not have studied under an award that required you to return to your home country after graduation to apply your skills and knowledge
• you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
• you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months

IMHO, you should be getting the benefit for both anyway. Just because you've done your second course in Canada should not mean you should lose out on the points for actually completing "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees?"

Thanks a lot! I was considering getting another year of study just to get 3 years of stay as I thought I wouldn't have enough points to apply for PR. But since you confirmed, I can now apply right after I'm done with the program as I would make 455 points.

I have another question please!
Am I eligible for additional 50 points with CLB 9 or do I need more work experience to claim those 50 points?
