Hello, I tot someone might be able to provide further informatin on this. I am applying for skilled immigration to canada and I know I need to get police certificates for places I have lived for 6 months and above. I have lived in at least 3 countries but never stayed in any one of them for a period up to 6 months (max was 4 months). But I had visas that allowed me to stay for up to 1 year in each of the countries. Would it be neccessary, or would I be asked to get police certificates from these countries even though I stayed there for less than 6 months? Someone please help!

No, you do not require PCC from countries where you have lived for less than 6 m. It does not matter if you had a visa for 1 yr.
