Criminal record check for inland application

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are most likely going to do an inland application. He is from Mexico but will be back in Canada in a few days. In Mexico he went out and got an ordinary criminal record check without any request from CIC (as we haven't sent off the app yet)... will that work? Or will he have to follow a set of instructions from CIC? If that won't work, will he be able to get his criminal record check/fingerprints here in Canada?

For my case, i sent my police record from my country along with my application since beginning but bcs its validity only 6months so immigration requested me the updated once

Yes i got it again from my country- my sister helped me to do this. Anyway this only extended/renew so my finger print already kept there means i dont need to do finger print again
