credential evaluation for express entry

Hello seniors,
I am new to this forum,i wish to apply in express entry program,need your advice regarding the credential evaluation,Is the criteria for credential evaluation in express entry is same as likewise in F.S.W program.Thanks in advance.

I think so. Basically, if your education is not Canadian and you want to claim education points, do ECA.

For some reason :

If you were educated outside Canada, you may need to have your educational credentials (your foreign degree, diploma or certificate) assessed against Canadian standards.

You may not need an assessment if:

you have at least one year of recent work experience in Canada, or
your work experience is in a skilled trade (skilled manual work).
