Hi team,

Currently on 156 points so need more.

My UK/US company want to keep me on when I move to Canada. How can I turn this into extra points?

Should I open a branch of my company in Canada (sounds like a ton of work and cost for my company, and they may not love me that much...)

Can I get points somehow considering I'd be employed as I landed, just not by a Canadian company. I'd still pay tax.

Others can comment as well but to be frank unless you are an executive of a company setting up a subsidiary in Canada the odds of progressing such a plan seem remote.

With a score of 156 given the current express entry selection is on the 460-470 range seems unlikely as well and working remotely would not count for anything.

Even a startup visa does not sound like an option, but this is all just my view maybe someone else will provide some more positive ideas
