Hello,
I'm an Indian citizen and I was in Waterloo, Canada during the years 1985-1986 for my Postdoctoral research.
I contributed towards the CPP (Canada Pension Plan), but moved back to India in 1986.
I want to know if I am eligible for any benefits as I turned 60 last year. Also what document would be needed?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Eligibility:

1. Start reading here: http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/isp/pub/factsheets/cppretirement/when.shtml
2. If you had 1 years contribution you would receive 1/45th of the pension (if you paid maximum) so $1012 x 1/45 = $22.40 per month less 30% (under 65) so $15.74 per month.
