First of all, let me congratulate everyone on the outstanding support and knowledge that this forum is filled with. This site is a wonderful place for so many of us going through the immigration process.
Apologies if this has been asked before, but my question is this: What is the difference between the "Case Processing Centre, Mississauga" (CPC) and the "Visa Office Responsible for Processing your Application" (VORPA)?
I am sponsoring my wife for immigration. She is a lecturer at a Saudi University, and as per my understanding, her VORPA is Abu Dhabi, but her side of the application documents should be mailed to me in Canada for submission to the CPC.
So if I submit both her and my documents jointly in Mississauga, how does Abu Dhabi become her VORPA? Will the documents be assessed in Ontario, or Abu Dhabi? Or am I mistaken, and she need to submit her documents to the Abu Dhabi office instead?

CPC Mississauga is where your entire application needs to be sent to first. That is where they deteremine if the sponsor (you) is eligible to sponsor someone to Canada. So they will go through your section of the application to see if you meet the requirements to sponosr your wife.
After you are appoved as a Sponsor (hopefully ), your application is then sent to the appropriate Visa Office of your wife. So you stated that her Visa Office will be Abu Dhabi- so it will be sent there (CPC Mississauga will send the application there so you will not have to worry about that). The visa office will then go through the rest of the application to determine if your relationship is genuine or not and they will determine if she will be given permanent residence or not.
