covid-19 and landing as PR at land border crossing

Hi All,

I got my PR CoPR and have Canada work permit till June end. I worked in Canada more than 1 year while back. Right now, I am in landing process and Currently reside in US. I was planning to cross the border for landing, since borders are closed, waiting to open. Few days back my daughter (age :2) received her PR confirmation by email and her profile has been updated. she is US born. But for me and my spouse, we didn't receive any notification till now. We are Indian citizen. I have heard that many people are receiving email like this of PR confirmation without landing. What is the criteria?

This is usually reserved for Inland landings only.

Unfortunately, VAC offices in western Europe are again closed until further notice, even though they were supposed to re-open on and after 18th of May...Umm, that's a pity..
Guys, any idea that till when the extended travel ban is in place?

Thank you for your message, but are you sure about it? As you know, Canada extended closure of US border till June 21st, and if this would be the last extension, then I guess restrictions on aerial border with EU countries should also be lifted on the same date, I mean 21st of June.

yes, I am sure but this is the current plan. Canadian government may change (extend) the policy in the future. EU restriction is the same as other internal countries (June 30), US has a very special relationship with Canada so it has different policy with USA.

I haven't saw anyone reference this yet? It says as long as your COPR was approved prior to March 18 you are exempt from travel restrictions.

If immediate family member travels for essential reason, there is no restriction that COPR has to be approved by March 18.

But when all of these restrictions will be lifted & COPR holder can travel without any concern? still 30th of June?

If you refer to those non-immediate family member category, June 30 is current date for end of travel restriction but it could be extended.
