Hello Members,

I did my landing during the last week of December. I returned back to my home country after two weeks. I am planning to permanently move to Canada in Mid June.
I provided my uncle's address during landing and they recently received my PR card.
I am in dilemma that should I ask him to courier my PR card to me or should I initiate the procedure for obtaining PRTD?

Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards,
OMSAIOM

Just get the PR card couriers to you with FedEx or something...

Courier as mentioned above. Less hassle

Thank you for your answer kryt0n,

I just read somewhere that Canada courier companies are instructed to handover PR cards to the government if they find them to be couriered outside Canada.
I don't know how much truth in it, are you aware of someone who has done this?

Best Regards,

Erm... How would the post service know what was in your envelope? I know they x-ray but it could be a membership card for a gym...

Hi,

They were to start providing RFID cards, I don't know whether they have started it or not.
