Hey Guys

I am working on my application i have acouple of question, your comment is highly appreciated.

1) How long does it take to receive an Option C from Canada Revenue Agency within Canada? and what is the validity period?
2) What is the validity period of a Police certificate?
3) What is the name of the document which records the landing date of the Naturalized Canadian Citizen? and the name of the document which records the citizenship date, because on the citizenship card we are unable to get the date which my spouse became a citizen.
4) the UCI number is it on the Landing document? if i can not find it should we call CIC to get this number? or we leave it blank?

1 - about 10 days
2 - Police Certificate need to reach CIC within three months of being issued.
3 - not sure - record of landing I think.
4 - if you don't have the UCI for the sponsor, leave it blank, CIC will find it in their own records

Good luck,
Sweden

1- Mine took about 3 weeks to come in.
2- The police certificate is valid 3 months (you must send it in before 3 months time) then once CIC receives it, it is valid for a year.

My husband's Option C took about 3 weeks also.

Thanks Sweden, skas13, betina for your replys.

I have two more question. When answering some questions the text box space might not be sufficient, so should we start with the text box or starting with the separate sheet would be better. Also the separate sheet with the details should i staple it with the form?

you can just put in the box - see attached separate sheet,
and for the sheet itself: make sure you reference it: Form IMM....., question x, name of applicant and name of sponsor. No need to staple it, just put it behind the main form, but make sure that the references are all there so if for any reason the paper changes place, then they can put it back where it belongs.

In general: no staples in your application.
