My wife is working in Kuwait , however she has a sponsor visa by me in United Arab Emirates , she's basically a resident of both countries with valid visas & IDs.
Can I choose the country of residence as UAE just to apply from Dubai's VO ?
Not inclined to process our application from Kuwait..

Country of residence means where she is living when she applies. Since she has to disclose addresses, she can't claim to be resident in a country she is not currently living.

My address is basically hers when she comes in Dubai .

That would be misrepresentation. And it would be caught because she would have to say that she is currently working in Kuwait, so they would figure that she is not resident in Dubai.

She is resident of dubai , she has a visa and an ID.

But resident is where she is living. You don't get to choose. It is where she is phyiscally living.

i wanted to confirm further no offense but idk how to legally check this .
when i press on question mark for this field it pops up " must be legal in this country"
And she's totally legal in UAE as much as she's in Kuwait. No misrepresentation or bad intention . Bcuz in work history i added curent job is in Kuwait so no lies ..

Country of residence: The country a person is living in. A person’s country of residence may be different from their country or countries of citizenship.

Where you live is where you reside. if she lives and works in Kuwait, that's where she should put as her country of residence.

She could be a resident of many countries, but IRCC want to know where she is living physically at the moment, in order to generate the right documents required for her application like PCC.
