Country Of Residence

Hi All,
I am an Indian citizen and am currently in Malaysia on work visa. I have been here for about 5 months and shall be here for another 4-5 months.

Can someone tell me what I should enter as 'Country of residence' in the express entry form? Should it be India or Malaysia?

I had another question though. The country of residence decides the visa office and since I don't plan to stay here on long term basis, it can be problematic later if I get an ITA post leaving from here.
Considering this point, would it be better to give India?

No, because that would be misrepresentation if you actually reside in Malaysia.

You'll have to give current addresses, they'll figure out you're not actually resident in India.

Ok. So later if I leave from here and then the ITA comes, do you have any idea how to sort that out with them as then the visa office would need to be changed?
If possible, do you have any email ID or number on which I contact the team?

You are required to update IRCC when you move. You can do it through an IRCC webform. Just google "IRCC webform."
