Council tax default in uk. Will it affect canadian PR?

Hi all,
In short, i was in UK during 2012 to 2014 under a student visa. Being a student i was exempt from council tax. although I submitted the letter from the university confirming I'm a student, i started to receive council tax due letters from the council after i left UK (records might not have been updated at their end). i am a bit worried if it would affect the police clearance certificate adversely which in turn would affect my PR application for Canada. Could any one advise if the Police clearance certificate be affected?
