Could an uncle be a cosigner for my parents sponsorship application?

Hello,

I have a question and hope someone would help me out.

I am a permanent resident and I would like to send application to sponsor my parents next year, 2014. Unfortunately, my income cannot meet the standard and I wonder that would my uncle be a cosigner (he is my father's brother and a canadian)?

No - only your spouse can be a co-signer.
